Hi all,
I have set up a basic sample and hold patch to control filter cutoff modulation on the ms20. It's really hard to sync the modulation to the tempo of my project in live. Is there some way I can do this. I know that only midi notes can be sent and relieved. The clock input on the ms20 is receiving a square wave. Can anyone think of a way to do this even if it involves Volta/Silent Way or Max patching? Is even possible? My inner Rube Goldberg would love your suggestions!
Thanks,

If I understand your question correctly, I do think there is a way to do this. Check out the software and hardware put out by Expert Sleepers. Here is a link: http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/hardware.html
I know Celldweller uses their stuff to convert between audio/MIDI and CV (control voltage) so all his hardware synths are clock-synced with his DAW. Here is a video where he explains it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7jD2js8YAc
I know this isn't an exact answer but hopefully it points you in the right direction. I wish I knew more about it.
