How to create seamless drone loops with Push?
How to create seamless drone loops with Push?
Is it possible to create a looping drone just using Push, so that there is no attack? If I'm on the computer, I can record a held down bass note and then change the loop start point so that it never comes back around to the initial attack. Can I do something similar using just Push, or is there another way to do what I'm trying to accomplish?

You could use the sequencer and input a notes(s) and lengthen the step. Then you just need a synth with a long attack and release. The note step duration and attack/release time of the synth will define your drone. If you want fast attack then make it fast. I see this as being more a synth question than a push question but maybe I'm not understanding how you would like your drone to sound?

He wants the midi note itself to trigger and then loop indefinitely until stopped. Step sequencer might do the trick. Maybe. Not sure. Hmmmm

It's a little convoluted but you can do it with the step-sequencer.
1: Enter note
2: Press pad and extend note to over 2 bars in length
3: Go into Clip mode and change first the Loop Length to 2 bars and then the Loop start to 2.1.1
