Odd number audio input interface - Aggregate device

I have created an aggregate device, which Live sees, consisting of 5 inputs & 6 outputs. The fifth input is an Apogee MiC and consequently only is a mono input in my aggregate device. In Live´s preferences, under input channel configuration the fifth input is missing. Can Live only see stereo inputs? In Reason said input shows up as a stereo input.
