I agree his opinion is honest... It is yours that isn't...

You attack people all the time and when someone points out your mean spiritedness, you claim it is they who are getting personal.

It is a fairly common behavior... pretend to adhere to some 'ethical' line of not getting personal, while all the time slipping over that line and making various sorts of personal jabs and attacks... and of course claiming that nobody should ever say anything because that would be getting personal. That argument is bullshit.

No, that's you looking in the mirror. Projection much? I only ever talked about bitwig and nothing more till you and another started on my case. And here you go calling me a liar again in your first line.

That said, you really AREN'T worth another second of my time, and i don't know why i allow trolls to bother me. Note to self, stop feeding and just ignore.
Let them go on forever with no response, that will drive em nuts. The last line is yours to have.. forever.

Bah bah diva.

I definitely agree about the price, you can't start low then go high.. you have to just start at what the price will be. like i doubt they will go up. it will always be 399 unless there is a sale or something, and will stay that way even when version 3 for example. As fas as i know most apps besides logic (which dropped to a silly price) have stayed the same.. cubase, PT, sonar, DP etc.. they all have sales of course but their RRP is constant. I just don't think it's worth the asking price now but i don't think they should drop it unless they come up with a new *permanent* lower price... That said, i wouldn't think it would be a bad idea to offer free upgrades through version 2.99x for early adopters up to a certain date.. that would help inspire confidence knowing there will be a major version upgrade for free if one was to get into it now.

Well, at least we don't throw food at people when they get injured.

Anyways, the classlessness is rewarded in the notfootblall league. Enjoy your ring.

Not much of a football person myself, did someone get food thrown at them? I'm glad we won I guess, but I'm still pissed off about the stadium, we voted against building the dammed thing, and the city caved in to Paul allen, because one of the richest men in the world deserves city money for his team whether the people want it or not….. Putin has nothing on our local politics. :x

^^ And we don't call them oligarchs why??

actually it was the sound of your synapses backfiring.

Nobody but you has a problem with deva, and we can all write his sig correctly.

Me and eyeknow completely disagree for the most part on the state of Bitwig, and we aren't running around causing forum drama over it.

Nothing I've said about you, or in debate with you in this thread warranted the "you're the worst troll evar!" PM you sent me.
And this was for stating the obvious, that you're ridiculously passionate about DAWs.

You, are your own worst enemy here. I can't be any more clear about it than that.

If everyone just keeps moving and ignores mr I-am-right-and-everyone-who-disagrees-with-me-is-an-imbecile, the conversation might be able to get back onto more interesting terrain.

i really like the reverb that came with my old T.C. Electronic interface. i wish Live had a reverb that sounds that good.

what's your opinion on Bitwig's reverb?

For reverb, just get valhalla room or vintage verb, for 50 bucks it can't be beaten.

personally beyond convolution reverbs, embedded reverbs are all universally mediocre, and even then Altiverb sounds better.
I never even bothered looking at BW reverb the same way I've never bothered with Live's reverb. Valhalla is a good choice, I have an iLock so the Lexicon one is what I use.

In general I don't like development time being used on plug ins, it's things like plug in sand boxing, rewire, CPU use, MIDI functions in general, things a plug in isn't going to be able to do that count as far as a DAW is concerned IMO.
