Duplicate a single clip
Duplicate a single clip
I'm trying to duplicate just a single clip within a scene of playing clips. Is this possible?
Re: Duplicate a single clip
Yeah you need to put the Push into clip mode rather than Scene mode. Cant remember where this is now though but a quick google search will pull up your answer
Re: Duplicate a single clip
Hold down the USER button and under "Workflow", change it to "Clip". Otherwise, in scene mode, just hold down the "Duplicate" button and tap the clip you need to duplicate. If there is a clip underneath it, this clip will be replaced.

I've noticed this and it's very annoying.tedlogan wrote:If there is a clip underneath it, this clip will be replaced.
Is there any way that you can duplicate a clip without it replacing the clip underneath? Instead just pushing everything else down a row?

Thank you for that!tedlogan wrote:Hold down the USER button and under "Workflow", change it to "Clip". Otherwise, in scene mode, just hold down the "Duplicate" button and tap the clip you need to duplicate. If there is a clip underneath it, this clip will be replaced.
Re: Duplicate a single clip
Not that I know of - perhaps PXT addresses this. Would be great to have additional controls over scene arrangement/moving of clips, like maybe holding down the amber track button, and then using Push's arrow keys to nudge all clips down/up etc...Daniel_S wrote:I've noticed this and it's very annoying.tedlogan wrote:If there is a clip underneath it, this clip will be replaced.

Atm I just duplicate the clip that will be replaced first, and then duplicate the one that's above it. Or I just use the mouse. Heh.
no worriesThank you for that!
