Maschine software is great... and if you have Komplete.. or other NI K9 instruments and fx..it's even better!

there's also a very good Live remote script which you can switch to from time to time...

Only one thing - it won't fit in my Maschine Mk2 gig bag....

Very close to pulling the trigger on this (again, last week it was backordered so I cancelled), just curious if there's anything unexpected people ran into before I do.

Be patient with the learning curve. It does things in a much different manner than Live, but it's still pretty easy to use.

I had Maschine v1, so I'm a little familiar with it. Pretty easy so far, loving the new controller.

A free update to iMaschine is out now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyRBSn6CU0M

It's now a universal app optimized for iPad and has a bunch of improvements like sample loop point editing, sample import from iTunes file-sharing, 2-octave synth, new XY controller, improved file browser and quicker interface, ability to rename and delete samples, and additional features like history, swipe undo/redo, and free Quantum Collection expansion pack.

Dammit!! They can't make me buy a maschine, they can't....maybe.

Ahhhh back to reality, my trigger finger was sitting on the porch this morning. It's going to be a good long weekend!

It's awesome, truly impressive actually, best groove box I've ever used.

Unfortunately I realized right now a groove box workflow is not what is exciting me, so I'm moving on to my next experiment, and OP-1.

Nice score. Did they say what the lead time is to mail it to you after your order was confirmed? I am on the fence about waiting to 10 Komplete Ultimate or getting 9 ultimate now. I might just break my piggy bank now.

Well, I got a tracking number the day after I ordered it. You do know that NI has Komplete upgrades on sale for 50% off. I already own Komplete 9. The upgrade to Ultimate only cost me $249.

Well, that should make someone else happy then, at this price, it becomes almost reasonable :-)

For me going back to Maschine is not in the cards, though, I'm way too happy with my current workflow.
