How do I: Control 2 VSTs' macros with 1 push knob?

Post by 132nonamemk\ » Mon May 26, 2014 8:15 am

I'm using:
Native Instruments Massive - With the 8 yellow macro controls to my liking
Ableton Live EQ Eight

I'm twisting the PUSH knob (sort of like a dub step WOT WOT WOT sound) that is linked to a macro in MASSIVE. However, I also want a macro inside EQ EIGHT to respond simultaneously.

So pretty much I want:
1 knob on the push to control (1 - one) macro in MASSIVE & (1 - one) macro in EQ EIGHT together

Is this done thru Midi Mapping? I pressed MIDI mapping and everything turned purple but I couldn't find a way to link the 2 instruments' macro respond to my single PUSH knob.

How can this be done?

Select bot racks and group them. To the macros of the surrounding rack you can now assign the macros from the racks within. You can assign two different ones to one macro and even set up ranges.
