If you are doing any recording, the digital out on the stantons is nice. You can pretty much get a straight tone arm for any turntable, so i wouldnt hop on the numark train just for that reason. THey are heavy as shit, and its a general concensus that numark's quality has been quickly fading through the last couple years.
Althought ive been around technics all my life, i really started getting into the other companies. Although they are the industry standard, they have not done anything to keep the title. They continue to produce some the best made equipment, but they never experiment with other ideas like the other companies. And they no longer have the most torque on the market.

Some of you out there are jaded on Technics an need a turntablist to present you what a Vestax pdx-2000 can do. Some of you will never be the same. If your only objective is to mix club music then Technics is all you need.

Vestax easily...
Me and mate had used Technics 1200's for 10+ years but were astonished at how much better the vestax decks were.. Rock solid with zero tempo drift, they are a delight to mix with...
