This seems like it would be so simple to implement and would be very helpful.
I just had to increase the volume of all my clips by 15 db, then decrease the track volume by 15db just to get fatter waveforms for lining things up. Then I'll have to undo all that at the end to get the audio back out of Live. It seems silly. Just add a fader to increase the height of the waveform please?

Tried it, but it was a fingerpicked acoustic guitar part I was trying to line up with drums. So the transients were still tough to see. In Logic, this sort of thing really helps for timing edits, matching track A up with track B. When you can fatten the waveforms, they almost bump up against each other on your screen, making it easy to align them visually.re:dream wrote:Y u not just drag the track boundaries?
