Slicing to Midi Track preset folder in Live 9?

Post by Shane Collins » Fri Jun 06, 2014 5:17 pm

Hey guys,

I have created some drum racks with a simpler in it and its basically a handy preset for Vocal Chops. I followed some tutorials online but I cant seem to see where to save these presets to? In Live 8 its Library/Defaults/Slicing and I read some where in future versions its User Library/Defaults but.. when I choose the option on a sample to 'Slice to new midi track' I see the presets below

Built-In
Built-in-0-Vel
Sampler-Beat-Offset
Sampler-Carbonized-Rack

And so on..

Where are these presets saved to? Because its obviously where I need to save my presets to so this will work

Thanks for any help

It worked! I created a slicing folder inside 'defaults' folder and put the preset there, i can choose it now

OK, I'll try again.

I was thinking of an older thread where someone wanted to slice to a Sampler, not a Drumrack.

There should still be a Defaults/Slicing folder in Live 9's User Library. If not create one.

Default Presets - towards the end of that section.
