Envelope Follower being visible makes ableton super chunky++

Post by shuutobi » Sun Jun 08, 2014 6:50 am

When I add an Envelope Follower and if it's present on the screen, it will cause live to slow down to super chunky state...
  • If I move the live device window horizontally so that none of the Envelope Follower object is visible, live starts to function smoothly.
  • Also if I group the object and close the group so that it's not visible, live starts to function smoothly.
Occurs on Ableton 9.1.2(x64)/max 6.1.0(x64), not sure if present before this as I rarely use M4L devices, and just started using this one.
Anyone else having this issue? You can test by opening up a fresh project and adding an Envelope follower... Now try moving the device browser scrollbar... Chunky eh?

Yep, there's a known GUI problems with M4L devices. It supposed to be on the fix list.

Rgr, I tried some other ones to see, but of those that I tried, only this one in particular had the issue.
