Hello all.
I'm just starting to work with Ableton and am learning the ropes. I am struggling to make a real solid kick sound for a track I am making. I made a track with Live last month but it was mixed all wrong. It sounded okay but the kicks were terrible.
Here is an example of the sound I want to achieve.

Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks!
How to make a kick like this one?

Hmmm, how to achieve the sound of a kick that's exposed with no other elements interfering in the intro...

I am a beginner to but here is an idea... You can add a compressor to a return track, send all non-kick tracks to the return track, add a compressor to the return track and side chain the compressor with the kick. This way, when the kick hits, all other sounds will be compressed and kick will stand out. Just one idea.
