Recently encountered this problem again and am not sure the correct procedure to correct it. So perhaps someone knows how to handle it.
The problem is this, when the bottom part of the Ableton interface extends further than the bottom of your screen.
There's no way to get the mouse cursor to the bottom left or right corner to adjust the interface size to pull it up and make it the ableton interface smaller and to fit the screen.
How can you get the ableton interface to reset to the correct edges of you monitor rather than being outside them?
I have experimented with toggling between Full View F11, then back again. And or pressing the tiny orange arrow in the bottom right corner, but this doesn't fix it as it just expands again out to the too large oversize interface.
Does any way know how to get around this? It most recently occurred for when I tried to use a different monitor.

Change your screen resolution in your Mac's system settings.
If you cannot get the resolution tiny enough, the only thing to do is to plug your Mac into a big-ass screen and drag the corner in.

On a Mac you can drag from anywhere.

Yup. Drag from the top of the window and shrink it down that way.Theo Void wrote:On a Mac you can drag from anywhere.

Whoever might still find this, the solution in my case had to do with Ableton's zoom level and not my Mac's resolution settings. Decrease the Zoom a lot, maximize the window so it fits the full screen again and then you can increase your zoom back again while the window stays maximized.

Just double click on the top of the window of ANY application and it should fill the screen, corner to corner.
Works fine on my MacBook 13” screen as well as a 27” 4K monitor screen, which do not have the same aspect ratios.
