Can't Save warp makers on any mp3 track!

Post by brooka87 » Wed Jun 11, 2014 3:41 pm

Ok so maybe Im doing something completely wrong... please correct me if I am.
Both EDIT and SAVE are greyed out on all my mp3 tracks. They used to be fine and for some reason now I can't save any warp markers or anything. Saving the project does keep all my current warp makers but if I make any changes to a track or bring in a new track and create warp makers then they are still greyed out.

It seems to not work for tracks over minute which is what I deal with all the time making mixes etc. Anything really short, say like 30 seconds - then EDIT and SAVE become active.

Im using Ableton Live 9 Suite

Turn on the Warp button in the clip properties.

The clip warp button is definatley on for all the tracks as I can make warp markers throughout them but the EDIT and SAVE buttons are greyed out.

Would this be a permissions issue?

What do you mean by permissions issue?

You can read the files but not write to them, like not having ownership/admin rights to the files. Can't say if it's really common in your example though. Thought maybe someone else would have a better idea.
