No drag and drop for songs. Corrupt?

Hello im very new to Live 9 and im trying to drag and drop my mp3s in by pressing ctrl+O It will say the file is corrupt. I have been able to right click on the Live logo in the task bar and click on a song, and it loads it into Live. Tried downloading QuickTime and that didnt help. Also tried chaning a song to .wav and that didnt work either.

Try clearing your cache or increasing the size, that sometimes causes a false 'file is corrupt' error.

I think there are one or two other causes but cant think of them off hand.
