Chord Generation - Cthulhu

Post by Buleriachk » Sun Mar 23, 2014 4:36 pm

For those interested in generating complex chords with Push:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=202918&p=1594705#p1594705

(And, of course, if you have a Launchpad, you can use it to change accompaniment chords while playing melody with Push (or vice versa)... Not only that, but if you use Chromatic, you can specify secondary dominant passing chords conveniently...

Push users probably won't need it if they don't use the Dominant 7th chord in the C-related A Harmonic Minor.... :)

It's pretty cool with Push. Just make sure to turn off Push's in-key mode or you miss some of the chords....

I use it. Love it.

Nice to even just get a starting chord as a base template but when you start looking into how the arp works and playing chords without thinking about them even accidents can sound good. It's fun which is never a bad thing.
