Hey guys,
I just got Ableton Live and I love it! I've been recording in Logic for years and wanted to use Ableton Live during my band's live shows.
Here's my problem:
I need to play the sounds that's I've created in Logic's ES2 synth during the live show. I've read all the posts about using Soundflower with MainStage but people seem to think this method is unstable and don't trust it for live use.
I tried to recreate a simple synth sound in Ableton's Analog Synth but it never turned out right and I don't think it would be feasable for me to do this for EVERY sound I want to use. I'm sorry if I'm beating a dead horse on this one, I just have a hard time accepting the fact that if I use ES2 I'm stuck with using MainStage
ANY help would be awesome. I'm pulling my hair out over here. Thanks!

You could perhaps sample the notes and create a Sampler instrument?
Or if you change your audio interface to a Metric Halo interface, their mio console software allows you to connect multiple DAWs to the same soundcard.

Thanks for the reply Winterpark!
Yeah I thought about sampling the sound. Do you think that would be a good alternative?
The Metric Halo Interface is an interesting option but I'd rather not spend the money. Actually I CAN'T spend the money hahaha.
I feel like you've given me some hope!

Oddstep, the problem with Rewire is that MainStage has to be the master and Ableton is the slave. I need the opposite of that.

Winterpark you are a genius!! I sampled the sound in Logic, then brought it into a sampler instrument in Ableton and bingo!!! Thank you so much for your advice!!
