splitting multitrack drums and loop locator question

1- In order to split several clips at once such as multitrack drums, i place the arrangement insert marker on one of the track then shift-down or up arrow to include the rest of my multitrack then split.

Is there a better/quicker way of splitting multi clips ?

2- When you put several tracks within a group, this grouping is not retained when selecting. As with the example above, arrangement insert marker does not affect grouped tracks so one must shift down/up arrow EVERYTIME, what a workflow killer. Is there a way around this ??

3- When you set the loop locator, Live includes all the tracks (from top to bottom) in the arrangement window. Is there a way to include ONLY the tracks we want within the locator ?? Thx

2. no, dont think so

3. hold ctrl key and click on tracks you dont want split. then go to edit menu (not right click) and click split
