On certain BSII patches, I can hear a delayed signal. It's like I hear the attack of the note and then the attack again a few milliseconds again I assume. This occurs on patches where the synth arp is used, and on some random other ones. Some patches don't do this but still have noticeable latency. (ex. when I record into a clip with 16th note record quantization on, it is always 1 or 2 sixteenth notes ahead of where I want to be) This I researched and found out that the delayed signal is a MIDI loop and can be avoided by turning off the synth's "Local" function. So I turn it off and the arp patches don't have that delayed signal anymore. But now the latency in general is about 10x more noticeable, at least 50-60 ms, which is goddamn awful. so basically it's like:
(if TL;DR please read below)
Local Control ON - minimal latency (maybe 15-20 ms), and delayed signal on arp patches and some others
Local Control OFF - extremely noticeable latency (50-60 ms)
How can I work around this? Thanks in advance for any advice.
