can anybody tell me anything that an Android device can do better that takes advantage of that horsepower?
I can't answer that but I was looking for something cheap and not even bothered about specs but came across the Doogee and the camera still is good enough for me (I don't mind what seems to have more contrast than others and I'm always editing pics in photoshop in the end anyway) and should I be interested in a game it seems to handle them well so it looks like the biggest con is the battery life and I'm not worried about. I can choose to stick a 32 or 64gb card in there to not worry about space. The specs just happened to be whatever they are. For 160 bucks it seems like a good deal and I don't think iOs or apple components are that godly. Not anymore anyways.

Actually I really like the fact that I won't have to rely on iTunes to transfer shit.

But yeah bigger porn is always a plus; zoom-a-zoom-a-zoom in the boom-boom

In this case I would say just get a Surface Pro:

$2,000 to mod your own MPB or $4,000 with included MBP. WTF? Seriously, who is going to fund this shit at this point in history? :x

Free Shazam app for the Mac out now. Among its features is if you leave it on (default setting) it will use your Macs microphone to ID any song it picks up playing in the background and notify you what the song is in the menu bar. Pretty cool, but how often are you in a scenario with your Mac when you’re not listening to music on your Mac directly or playing from a source that doesn’t also let you know what the track is.

I have to say, I was pretty impressed with Apple's Maps app when travelling in Europe recently. It was consistently faster and worked with the local transit apps smoothly. The wife and I both stopped using Google maps after awhile, it's so much better than it was before.

That said, a couple times while searching for a specific address it got it totally wrong, and we were off by a few blocks at least. Luckily that only happened twice.

Switched to Apple maps too, except for cycling ( no such option on Apple maps) even though bit tricky when you do not know exact address or spelling ( and in Germany it can be very confusing as there is plenty of street names that are weird, contrary to regular rules of spelling). Sometimes have to use Google to find the address and copy paste to Apple maps.

looks like great machine.

ipad2 i have is rather small for making drawings. Aber in der Beschränkung zeigt sich erst der Meister. (But the master only becomes apparent in the limit.)

could go for wacom too, but i'm fine with the ipad. will eventually put the sketches with paint on canvas or paper.

keep posting.

nothing wrong with apple. just won't get zealot about it. and if you get really cricital, mwah, is not that superior, the apple design.

it is merely because the rest is utter crep.

the logo for example, i think raymond loewy would have done better.

What is excellent design, yeh aston martin.

Don't get me wrong. I don't look down at other products. I got myself a Medion laptop, cause a comparable apple product would cost me twice as much.

Most people don't give a shit about design, or what I think, they just can't differentiate between a good and a bad design.

So buy what you want and what you are able to afford.

So I thought my work blocked all streaming services over the wifi even on devices that they don’t have access to. I confirmed with H2 that, that kind of BS technology is out there. :x After my iPad was also no longer getting email or websites I unplugged the power on the wireless router and I guess just as importantly I also unplugged the Ethernet cable. After plugging those back in all is well including music streaming services. Before that I tried just unplugging the power and that didn’t fix anything.

But during the living hell when I thought all music streaming services were blocked my iPad was still giving me shit sporadically, like not even playing songs that are stored on my iPad drive or after some lag it would play a song but display info for a different song. WTF FFS! :x

I don't want to sound like a hipster or anything, but the cotton gin is pretty cool.
