live with 2 laptops not really synchron!?
we are playing with 2 laptops and 2x live, the synchron-functions works but the "slave"-laptop changes the bpm all the time! (original bpm=120 bpm, slave=117-124 bpm) can anybody help me please???
Hi marco,
like already pe mentioned, get sure to use version 2.0.3.
If you still have this problem it's important to know what exactly your hardware ist.
- Which laptops (Mac or PC and whichoperating system)
- Which midi interface for the "master" laptop
- Which midi interface for the "slave" laptop
regards,
Alex

Hi,
Dont care about what Live shows as the actual BPM as slave. Its important that it sounds ok, not that the BPM is show equally on both computers.
But you can usually improve the timing of Live as master by using the lowest possible AuduiLatency. Its a known problem of Live that the MIDI timing gets worse when using very high audio latencies. Of course we do our best to fix this in upcomming releases.
You also might try to use the Laptop with the MIDI sport Interface as Master and the other one as slave.
Let me know if this fixed your problems ...
