Hi Ryan,

I would also actually like to own an MXF8 for personal reasons having put quite some considerable time & effort into implementing the firmware of the device. The politics of why the project did not reach market full-scale along with another product, I wasn't originally contracted to work on the MXF8, are a complete joke and needless to say the "company" and myself parted under acrimonious circumstances with my contract being broken and false promises.

However, there are a few things in that box that functionally I am quite pleased with given the constraints of the supplied hardware. Especially given that the specification for what that hardware was to do was changing every 5 days or so for the entire duration of the project.

If anyone has an MXF8 they are willing to part with I will pay good money to own something I worked so damned hard on and am still disappointed not to see in general use.

I have the development prototype but it ain't quite the same. Ya know?

Good luck with your search Ryan

Sorry to hear it went badly, GUEST.

I'm trying to get an Ableton-oriented MIDI controller to market myself -- and I'm trying to avoid the pitfalls that I see so many "mom and pop" operations suffer from.

I was real close to ordering one of these ... glad I didnt now, now I have the Faderfoxes which do the job quite well.

Shame, it had a lot of promise.
