Hi,
I finished this track last week and as I'm pretty happy with the result I'm beginning to think that it is a little bit muddy... I don't know, what do you think?

Nope, not to me on my semi-decent headphones.trinxat wrote:Hi,

ImNotDedYet,
ok, perfect!
Thanks for commenting! I don't know why, but listening to some references I had the perception it was too bassy... I might be wrong...

I'll give this a proper listen later. Do you ever listen to your tracks in on a full sound system? My little monitor rig sometimes doesn't give me the whole picture or at least the picture that counts; that of a pa system. If my stuff is too bassey, that's where it really shows.

Hi BlueGreene,
how are you?
A while ago I decided to go fully portable so I don't have to worry on room acoustics as I'm changing rented places a lot lately... so I just can rely on my headphones, and they definitely are not hi-end (Fostex T7). The good thing is that I also work as FOH engineer and I can try some on a big Nexo array system. Anyway it is difficult to judge as everyplace I go sounds also different... Do you have any trick?
Cheers?
