I'm wondering if somebody tried reducing the weight of the Push.
I personally find the push a bit heavy when travelling to different locations.
Did somebody try opening the push and removing some heavy useless parts, like metal plates or whatever?
Any other suggestions or ideas? :p
(last resort: get another, lightweight controller like the launchpad for performing)

Re: Push Weight
Yes, it's heavy!
No, I haven't tried to reduce its weight
Are you insane?!
Move your hands slowly away from my Push, where I can see them....now step back, and walk towards the door...SLOWLY, I said!!! No rash movements!!! Now get out, I don't want to see you around here ever again! Git...
(That's about how I would react if you would propose that to me in person

Re: Push Weight
I also find Push to be inordinately heavy. I usually hang my midi controllers on the lip of the open lid of my piano and to do this have to stick extra feet on the controllers to ensure they clear the piano keys. The weight of Push means the extra feet don’t stay put for long.
Not sure that I want to open up my Push, however it is not unknown for manufacturers to stick pieces of metal inside equipment to increase the weight (and therefore the perceived build quality).

Re: Push Weight
The weight is a feature not a problem.
It´s a performance tool that´ll securely stay in place when put down not some wobbly plastic toy.

Re: Push Weight
I like the weight of Push. This way it's both sturdy and stable, won't drop it down on the floor by any chance.

As an added bonus, you can use it to beat burglars unconscious.
