Why do all my loops audition and play at double speed?

Post by claudek » Mon May 19, 2003 6:40 pm

I made a bunch of 8 bar loops of very good loops and they all seem to audition and plays super fast. I made them all at 130 and when I bring them into Live it says 96.67BPM?? So the only way to get it back to 130 is to time warp it? What am I doing wrong?I also made sure the sample rates were 44.1 and my Sound Interface was at 44.1..sample rates matched..

It is really annoying..Not only when I audition but when I bring the audio into a clip, I have to bring the BPM close to where it was at says it may be 101.5 when it should be 135 and then try to get it in time.As when I edited it in Peak, I made sure the loop was a perfect 8 bar loop at 135 BPM..I am now starting to think it is a bug.

Hi claudek, hi cderum,

I learned from the past that there are often misunderstandings when talking about clip/loop issues.
So i think it's the best if you would send me the smallest clip you have with this problem. Please also add a comment to the mail containing what exactly you did and what happens opposite to what you expect.

regards,
Alex
