i´m having the same problem and sadly found no solution to this problem. i have to shut down push, switch to another track and restart push, then it´s working again for a little while but gets stuck again, annoying.

ok so let's try to narrow things down.ambientidm wrote:this didn't use to happen
- What OS are you running?
- What version of Live are you running? (the version you consider broken)
- What version of Live were you running? (before it was broken)
- Have you installed any 3rd party MIDI remote scripts?
- Have you changed Live in any way? i.e have you used the community mapping mods etc?
Good luck with this.

Re: Push getting stuck in step automation
Hey guys,
Not sure if anyones tried this but i've had this issue ... if i'm stuck in automation mode i just simply punch a new note in the sequencer and it gets out of that rutt !
Hope that helps.

Re: Push getting stuck in step automation
Sounds like the button is getting stuck, maybe try lowering your pad sensitivity? Worth a try at least.
Ableton Live 10 Suite / Push 2 / Max 8 /
Re: Push getting stuck in step automation
Sometimes I wonder if Live gets a weird processing error over time.
In some cases I'll randomly end up with a stuck note or stuck step. And the stuck thing will usually happen consistently on the one channel, I think if I switch modes, it doesn't always apply.
But this stuck thing, usually notes for me, can be frustratingly beaten out momentarily before it comes back again. I pretty much have to repower the device, or give up on all my fun.
I do not know if it is a physical problem or a software problem, but it seems so random that it would more likely be a software one.
When you have stuck steps or pads, is it consistently the same pad?

I get this. Entering a new note or switching to session view for just a moment gets rid of it.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
