Make Separate MIDI Signal For Each Pad on Akai MPD18

Post by CuBuLo » Tue Sep 02, 2014 2:39 am

I need to use an MPD18 to fire different Ableton clips, but on my MPD18 only the first 6 pads have separate signals while the rest all have the same signal as the first pad. So if I assign a clip to the first pad, all pads after 6 activate as well. I tried using the editor software to no avail. I need to fix this soon so I can rehearse for a live show! Thanks for helping.

Could you post an image of the editor showing the pads,

A shot of Live in midi mapping mode

And maybe if you have any midi/instrument channels armed, a pic of that?

Right now your description is very vague and I don't think people can even begin to tackle it.
