Starts playing automatically?

OK, I give up and am going to ask a dumb question:

Why would Ableton Live start playing a set (project) automatically when I open it?

I've tried hitting "Stop all clips" and then saving the song, but when I re-open it, boom, it starts playing automatically...usually right in the middle of the song, too.

Is it happening on just one particular set ?
Does it contain m4l devices ?
MIDI remote assignments ? Try to disable the ports one by one, there might be a MIDI loop somewhere.

Good question, and something I forgot to mention (and an important point!): I'm using Isotonik Studio's Max4Live device, "Follow," which changes scenes automatically. (Fantastic device, by the way.)

i bet it has something to do with it...
Must be a live.thisdevice somewhere banging on load ? No doubt that its author will come up here very soon !

Yep, it was the script. NOT the script's fault though — mine. I hadn't updated the script for Ableton 9; I was still using the old version for Ableton 8. My bad!

Hi there,

I have the same problem on live 12 (with the last update on it); I actually use many M4L devices that I created but none automatically launchs the play button.
Or is it ?
I'm a bit lost.
