Oddness

Post by brownjonas » Tue Sep 16, 2014 11:08 pm

Had Live 9.1.4 open to a blank default template project, went to Prefs to change audio devices, and upon selecting my main device, a drum loop started playing from nowhere. I am almost certain it was Live making the noise, but no meters showed any level. Opening the input configuration stopped it.
Any thoughts?

Could have been a file you had selected in your browser that was in loop-preview?

Do you have anything connected to your interface?

I guess I must have accidently clicked on something in the browser to get a preview playing. If I come across the loop again, I will know for sure. The loop sure SOUNDED like something out of LIVE. And no, I can't think of anything else attached to my interface that plays loops. Since posting Live has behaved completely normally. Putting in down to pilot error. Thanks all for reading and posting.
