Using Keyboard With Drumrack
Hello, I used to take a midi or whatever and drop into the drumrack and hit my asdfghjkl keys to test the sounds. Now for some reason, the keys dont do anything to trigger the sounds. Please help. Thank you.

use the Z & X keys to make sure you're playing C1 to D2

Is that little keyboard icon lit up at the top-right of the window? If not, your keyboard won't make sounds. Well, other than a quiet kind of clicking sound...

I'm still fairly new to Ableton Live but this makes me think it's more to do with monitoring than the keyboard itself. Might be better if someone with more knowledge steps in.King Vortex wrote:Yes the icon is on and still no cigar. The midi track indicator little sqaure flashes when I press a key but nothing happens.

Arming it works IF the monitoring is set to Auto, which is the default. What happens when you toggle monitoring, OP?
