Make The Root Note For Each Octave A Different Color

Visually this would help especially when changing + and - octaves it can be a little confusing. Also if you could make the entire range of that octave be the lighter color r of the root note or different color you would be able to see patterns on corresponding pads really easily.

Velocity is already color coded - how would you propose managing that along with an octave color code?

Could be nice - every 2nd octave's white keys could be light grey, maybe along with the note area.
