Polling for Currently Launched Clip
Hey guys, sorry for the noob question but I am simply trying to grab the id and name of a launched clip.
I have seen a myriad ways to interact with clips but I couldn't find anything that covered this specific use case.
Any help/links would be greatly appreciated and I will release my device once I get through this part.
Thanks all!

I was working on this myself to try and parse out a video clip number that I was adding to my clip naming
What I found out is that first you need to get the currently playing clips number, and then ask for it's name.

Thanks again guys. I have been going over the LOM but I didn't see that method for some reason.
That was really the root of the problem for me and I finally gave up and asked.
I appreciate the help and I will report back when the device is finished up
Take care!

If you're going the "highlighted_clip_slot" way you don't even need to poll for a specific track first.

Nice!
I would like to keep it as dynamic as possible so that is probably the way I will end up going.
I appreciate everyone's help!

Re: Polling for Currently Launched Clip
good call, the highlighted clip isn't necessarily the launched clip, unless you've got select on launch enabled.Valiumdupeuple wrote:If you're going the "highlighted_clip_slot" way you don't even need to poll for a specific track first.

You're right TYLR.
