Step Sequencing beyond 8 bars

Step Sequencing beyond 8 bars

OK. I'm a beginner. This thing is not as intuitive as I thought it was going to be. So I have a 16 bar loop set up.

I'm in Step Sequencer mode, entering notes. I can see I can press the white buttons at the top to select a different bar. 8 lights, 8 bars.

So how do I select bar 9?

change the note signature to 1/4 notes...
