cannot get guitar into Live

I have a Presonus audiobox 44, dl asio4all. I can see the levels change while I play in Live (green bar goes up and down) but there is nothing there for it to record. It's also just a clean channel from the interface that's coming through the phones no matter what I do. 2 days I've been fighting this. I've worked in Studio One for a while with no problems. this is driving me nuts

Any suggestions?

If the monitoring button is on "Off" or "Auto" change it to "In", see if that makes a difference. I know with my Saffire Pro 40 I had to click the pad button for the input I was using (on the audio interface) and inside of Live manually set monitoring to "In" to get actual, audible audio.
