Clip View and Midi Note Split Screen!!!

Post by GeoDecibel » Mon Oct 27, 2014 3:30 pm

I love to produce in clip view. It gives me a ton of flexibility to switch parts around and find combinations of midi sequences i may otherwise overlook when writing in arrangement view. I just recently purchased a new macbook pro which support dual screens however I was disappointed that I couldn't have my Clip View in one screen and my Piano Roll on the other screen. I am constantly dragging the middle expansion bar up and down, If I could have each on a dedicated screen it would make my workflow much smoother. :D

You can have two screens. One for session and another for arrangement view.

The trick is to set Session to show fx/instruments, and arrangement to show clips (on the other screen)

It doesn't work perfectly. But it is a little better than no option.
