Navigating in long MIDI clips?

Post by jj0b » Sun Nov 02, 2014 4:03 am

I just created a 16 bar polyphonic MIDI clip from Push. I would like to be able to move around the entire 16 bars in Push so that I can edit the MIDI but I can't figure out how to do this. I seem to only be able to see 2 bars which I can move around with the eight white lit buttons but I can't go beyond 2 bars. I've read the manual and searched the FAQs but I haven't found an answer. There must be a really obvious way to do this. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

AFAIK the only workaround for this is to change the resolution (to a setting like 1/8,eg)

Zooming with resolution buttons only gets you so far. I posted a work around in thread below that works for any length of clip. Only issue is that push doesn't automatically update when clip loop start is changed so u have to leave the clip and return to see the change. If Loopstart cannot be made to force the sequencer view why not have a button press to update rather than a fudge fix abes?
