'Fold' mode for musical step sequence in Push

Post by electroandy » Mon Nov 03, 2014 4:43 pm

I would love to see a version of the fold mode that's possible in the clip editor on the computer. I.e. some key on push collapses the display to show only recorded notes rather than everything. Maybe it's already possible some way? Also it would be great if the automation mapping allowed for a range of 'curves' to be selected and applied received controller data, rather than just straightforward linear response. That's because the Push rotaries are not so good for fine tuning on big ranges. Two of my current wishes. Thanks for the great software and hardware!

Another Push request is to allow a grouped set of tracks to be expanded using the same button that expands devices etc. It's a pain having to click the expand button on the computer to access the instruments that exist within a group.

Would be great if the sampler instrument allowed for an expanded waveform view as can be achieved with the sample mapping editor or the EQ plugin. I find the size of the waveform display a bit hard to work with.

Fold would be great, I knew I kept forgetting to add something important in the suggestions regarding Push's note sequencer. I'll add it to this suggestion:

You can already do this. Simply hold down the Group track's Track Selection Button to expand/collapse it.

Thanks for the tip on ungroup. That's going to save me a bit of frustration!
