Hello, over the years I have made and saved many instrument racks , all with 8 macros, named, colored. I have MIRA now. Since I have an APC where I like device selecting racks and using the 8 automapping knobs, When I device select an instrument rack and mess with it on the APC I'd like to see the macro on MIRA as well for visual reference of what the controls are. I've seen some devices on maxforlive dot com that look similar to macros like MultiMapper and even more in depth. However, I'd like to save the time of remaking/remapping/naming the racks/macros.
Is there a way to port my instrument racks in m4l? That way I could just copy them into my MIRA.
If not, is there any other tool out there that might help with autonaming/recreating macros, auto mapping/selecting capabilities similar to the APC? Any tools in general that let MIRA always display what you are controlling in live?
Thanks.

Live object model, you want the device in focus, grab the Id then the path from it, append parameters 1 to 8 and this will be the parameters you're focusing on....
Not seen a device that does specifically what you ask, MIRA launched ina blazeof glory but the first version was slow to update, if you search out PULL by Xmonsta itLl probably give. You an idea of what's possible...

wow, thanks, PULL really does look amazing. Looks great for production. For live performance, I do want control of customized m4l patches, all consolidated onto just a couple pages, so although PULL's interface looks great, I'm not sure if it would do everything I need. A combination of MIRA and PULL would be amazing but might be too much to handle.
I will first try digging more with what you suggested. I'm not afraid of manually recreating layouts for the various racks I use, even though ideally I wouldn't have to.
Should I be worried about the fact MIRA isn't updating? I was going to go for touch OSC but then I saw MIRA and that has proven very powerful so far and is working well.
