Help with an effect

Post by Pauly1981 » Thu Nov 27, 2014 6:09 pm

Can anyone help me achieve this sound...

happens at 2 mins 57 seconds

Sounds like the drums or something are reversed?

Any help would be appreciated as this sounds awesome!

Sounds to me like part of the master track was rendered out then cropped and reversed. Simplest way to do this, IMO, is to put the play cursor just before the part you want to reverse then set up a new Audio track in Resample mode, grab the part you're interested in to a new clip, and reverse it. Crop it to the right length and then use automation to silence the part it replaces. You'd have to experiment with the start and end of the clip and do some slip editing to get the transients/beats to line up.
