Nested Aliased Folders Within Browser

Post by krismiller1982 » Thu Dec 04, 2014 4:13 am

Just wondering if its possible to have nested aliased folders viewable within the browser, because I'm having no luck with aliased or symbolic links within a regular folder.... Any help would be much appreciated.

You can use junctions to folders to get the browser to recognize them, since at that point the link is transparent to any application using them, mklink /J <link> <target>

Using them can get a bit tricky though but I used it on mine to link my Geist samples dir to reside in my overall 'drums' sample location that I keep on a separate drive, many I miss using shortcuts so easily. At least I believe it was junctions, it was something beyond the usual shortcut though
