Hi everyone. I have an MPK mini (first one) that I want to setup and start using. If I throw a drum rack on a track and record enable it, the drum pads won't correspond to the correct Note# send value. I downloaded the MPK MINI editor from AKAI's website but it doesn't help. The custom midi templates or banks I create won't work unless I assign stuff directly through Ableton. I dont normally mind midi assigning stuff through ableton, but I at least want to get the drum pads working. When I hit Pad 1 on Bank 1 it'll play the F#0 cell on the drum rack. When I hit pad 2 it activates cell G0. Same goes for the rest of the pads (3-8) they all ascend the cells from left to right from there. But what I want, and what I thought would happen, is that pad1 would be on the C1 cell and the rest would correspond to that.
I can't get the MPK mini editor working at all. And yes, I have the mpk_mini inputs/outs with track and remote selected in Ableton's preferences.
