my 5.0 seems to get all distorted after 5 minutes?

I jsut bought my copy of ableton and if been using it a little over 2 weeks. I jsut want to say what an incredible fun peice of software, it is deifnitly one of the best investments i have made buying software. I just ran into one problem. i have been making a track and it seems that about 5 minutes into production the track the sound starts to go out and sound all distorted and you can even make out whats going on. it sounds like crumbling static distortion and it realy hurts the ears. Can you help me out i really love the programbut it is a big pain in the ass to shut it down every 5 minutes and reopen it.

It happened once here. I sent the email to support and got answer that the problem is in my audio interface...

yeah, something similar happened to me last week. Never had a problem like it with 4. Was (and still am!) hoping it was just a one-off...hmmmm

sounds like maybe its a CPU / disk overload or heat problem?

Since Live 5 eats more resources it would be worse than Live 4.

This one happens to me too on occassion - but at least once every session. I usually go into the preferences and switch the buffer size from 512 to 1024 or back to 512 from 1024 - Whatever it is this just refreshes things . It's a pain in the buttski -
