yeah,by routing my dj mixer through live, i can use all the effects and stuff. downside is that if it did crash, i'd be screwed!!! you could easily do it the other way round e.g put the output of the computer into the dj mixer. swings and roundabouts really though!
I don't know if I'll be using Ableton again this weekend. I'll let you know if I do. I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle. I love looping stuff in clever ways but i'm not sure if it's appreciated by average joe in thecrowd.
