Clip launching/looping question

I am using a live set to have some backing tracks to play over live. Here's an example of something I'd like to be able to do:

I have a backing track for a blues song start to finish. The first clip plays from the beginning and loops a 12 bar section indefinitely.

The next scene down is the last 12 bars of the song with the ending.

I want to be able to start the first track and play/jam over it until I decide I'm ready to end the song. At that point I'll trigger the scene below it to play out the ending.

What I would like to be able to have happen is when I trigger the next scene have the current clip play until the end of the loop/12 bar progression.

I haven't been able to find a way to do that. When I trigger the next scene it immediately goes to the next scene based on the quantize setting.

Is there a way to change the behavior to play out the clip before it goes to the next scene?

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm checking that out now. I have Live 9 Suite so I'm good on M4L.
