Something a bit different from me. I usually do electronica, sometimes with an EDM beat. When I made one piece of electronica, Joy Forever, a year or so ago, I thought it might be nice played by an orchestra. So I created an orchestra. What do you think?
Made in Ableton Live 9 Suite with Kontakt and Live instruments.

Re: Orchestral piece
Maybe with a real orchestra. I played with orchestral instruments or plugins before and the end-result is always disappointing, even when using seperate instruments. I'm for example still looking for a good cello sound

Re: Orchestral piece
Yes, it's always a problem. A "string ensemble" never sounds like the string section of a real orchestra, for example. And the instruments aren't in the correct position relative to where they would sit. And how many orchestras feature an electric bass? I could have taken months over it, generating hundreds of tracks and getting the articulations as good as possible, and it still wouldn't have sounded authentic.
But there's one good thing: at least I finished it!
