I recently converted a friend from Logic Pro X to Ableton live 9 and he's really liking it. I usually use ableton live for mostly EDM production and midi, but he has an audio interface with a lot of mics and instruments and needs to be able to do multi-track recording seamlessly. I was trying to set it up so he could record music takes in session view through scenes and just record all of the tracks at the touch of a master record button. But on the master track I couldn't swap out the play button for a record button to do all the clips at once. What should I do? Is there any way to do this with some midi mapping?
