Any comment please

Hi,
I only use MIDI files with Ableton 5, and each file has a hi hat count in.
For some reason they all start playing just after the Hi hat count, which is rendered inaudable .
How do you get the file to play from the start?, (including the hi hat count)
Is there some sort of delay that can be adjusted?
Obviously I want the clips to be triggered instantly..
Any comment gratefully received

track delay? Look below the mixer, not sure if this is what you mean but might work.

So you are hearing blank time where the hihat should be, or they start right in? If they start right in it may be the delay setting as Meef suggested.

If it's blank time, what instrument are you using to 'play' the hi hat?
UTENZIL a tool... of the muse.

Blank time

Yes I am hearing blank where the hi hat should be.
The instrument playing the Hi Hat is the drum kit on "Gigastudio", which on the odd occasion has worked with the playing of the first file only... so the application is capable of instant play.
