Launchpad mini problem

I just picked up a launchpad mini and I can't get it to work.

I'm using Ableton 9 Suite.

I had previously owned a 1st gen launchpad with no issues. I currently have a APC40 that's working with no issues.

I've tried it without the APC plugged up.

In Ableton midi preferences the launchpad mini is showing up.

Whenever I power it up it goes through the light cycle and then every light on the launchpad goes orange. It isn't responsive at all.

Any suggestions?

I was able to get it working. Something had gotten corrupted in my default template. By process of elimination I was able to get things back in working order.
