Earverb is terrific. What like it for the most is drums (all drums) and the gate. It's tricky to get the gate "right" but it's very effective for those booming tom sounds.

It's ok for guitar, but for what I do (I don't do vocals) drums stand out the most.........or.......I even like the "extreme" setting for really spacy stuff even more than valhalla.

Yep. I D/Ld the Replicka delay and have been giving it a go also but as it's name implies I'm trying to use it for delay not reverb. The RC24/48, as implementations of the Lexies it very well done IMO...SOS gave them good marks also.

Yeah, those RC's are pretty sweet.

Ok, so now trying the softube TSR-1. Haven't had a ton of time but first impressions are pretty good. It's about 125 bucks right now which I'd rather keep.......but being a verb ho means being a verb ho

Anyways, I'll dig into it deeper today. Haven't found out how to do presets other than per host yet though

Two more days until the TSR-1 sale is over and I'm on the fence. Sounds fabulous, but you can't save presets and I've got good reverbs. I need to put a couple of solid hours into a nearly finished song and then see if I really feel differently about it.

Aether, B2 and Breeze user here. Don't use other reverbs.

I just composed an ambient work where the reverb was a key component to the sound. I went through and tried every reverb on my computer, the stock ones in Live, several by Waves, all the options in NI Komplete, and a few others. My favorite, though for reasons that are different from what the OP was after, were the reverb classics by NI. They made my sounds thick and beautiful.

You know what has turned out to be the best verb for my originally-stated purposes? The Uhbik Ambience Processor or "Uhbik A" that I already owned in my U-He Uhbik bundle. It excels at adding transparent space without notable coloration / tails, which makes sense given the 'ambience' focus of the device. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a Verb for spacing, so to speak, rather than coloration.

I recently (insanely) upgraded to Komplete Ultimate, so I actually have those NI classics people are talking about in this thread, though I've yet to put them through their paces...

So, I gather from your post in a similar thread that you've also gotten into Breeze, which I've been demoing a bit. I really, really like it, but seeing as you also got the reverbs in Komplete Ultimate - would you advise against getting K10U and settle for its reverbs? It's a little hard to justify shelling out for a single plugin, when you consider all the other stuff you get in Komplete.

I will of course try the Komplete reverb demos too, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
