How to reset all effects with one button?

Post by peter_heard01 » Sun Jan 11, 2015 4:11 pm

I have a live set and midi endless rotary encoders mapped to some controls that help me create a build. When the beat kicks back in I want to be able to hit one button and have all the controls reset back to 0. When I used to use keyboard only for my live sets this was easy I would mouse up the control then hit a key which reset the value back to 0 and would do that to all the parameters I had tweaked. Now I can't do that so is there a way to do this? Because when I try with key mapping and midi mapping they conflict I can have one but not the other :-(

Do you own M4L? I built a device for my personal use exactly for this purpose. You can link up to 32 parameters and set them to 0 with a click of button. It's not carefully worked out, but it works for me. If you want to try it, drop me a PM with your email address and I'm gonna send it to you...
